AP Language Open Response Questions

The AP Language test will be given at ERHS in the Library & the ROTC room next Friday, May 9th, starting a 7.30. You will need to bring a blue or black pen to write the open response essays, and a number 2 pencil for the multiple choice portion, which comes before the essays.

If you would like to take a closer look at the essays that have been on the exam over the past years, visit this LINK to find the questions, range-finders, and the grader’s commentary. This website is where I identify questions for in-class essays; so, you will have seen some of the them.

It will be helpful to skim some of the rhetorical analysis passages and look at the past argument topics. Being familiar with the format of the test will also likely make you more comfortable on test day.
